Tehillah De Castro was born in the Philippines and raised in the Bay Area. She began learning cinematography by working in the electric department, where she had the opportunity to observe many talented DPs. 

As she transitioned to DPing, Tehillah’s work was recognized by the Television Academy, Director’s Guild of America, and Sundance Ignite. She has served as a cinematographer for various narrative projects that include the queer indie feature Tahara, and the upcoming feature, How To Blow Up a Pipeline, which premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival and acquired by NEON.
